These came directly to us from a cinema in New Zealand and were later used for the film on its re release where it was advertised as "Carry on Crooks" and six of the photos have a sticker with this as the main title at the foot. The director Gerald Thomas was of course the director for the very first Carry on Film "Carry on Sergeant " and the popularity of the series
