Ken is a gifted and versatile painter, his small oil studies being vigorously and swiftly executed. The fluent technique is derived from the practice of painting en plein air, which gathered pace in the late 19th Century. A beautiful example of this excellent artists work. A colourful yet romantic feel to this oil painting. In 1976 Moroney was recognised by the Royal Academy as "having considerable talent"
