“My design blends decades of floral beadwork of mine inspired by the traditional styles of the Great Basin and Plateau regions deeply rooted in the artistic legacy of my matrilineal grandmother's tribes

I didn't learn to love them until I learned to love myself

My hope was to create a dance shoe to inspire others to jig

while the arrows symbolize clouds above — elements that connect the design to land and sky in perfect balance
